Dr. Sylvia A. Earle called the "Living Legend" by the Library of Congress, and the first "Hero for the Planet", is an oceanographer, explorer, author, and lecturer with experience as a field research scientist.

An executive director for National Geographic and many other nonprofit organisations, Dr. Earle has led more than 60 expeditions and logged more than 6,000 hours underwater, including leading the first team of women aquanauts during the Tektite Project in 1970 and setting a record for solo diving to a depth of 1,000 meters (3,300 feet). Her research concerns marine ecosystems with special reference to exploration and the development and use of new technologies for access and effective operations in the deep sea and other remote environments.

 
   
Dr. Raymond Kurzweil is ranked #8 among entrepreneurs in the United States. He is included among the 16 Revolutionaries Who Made America by PBS along with other inventors of the past two centuries.

With thirteen honorary Doctorates and honors from three U.S. presidents, he is also the recipient of the $500,000 MIT-Lemelson Prize, the world's largest for innovation, the National Medal of Technology, the nation's highest honor in technology, from President Clinton in a White House ceremony. And in 2002, he was inducted into the National Inventor's Hall of Fame, established by the US Patent Office. He is the principal developer of the first CCD flat-bed scanner, the first print-to-speech reading machine for the blind, the first music synthesizer capable of recreating the grand piano and the first commercially marketed large-vocabulary speech recognition and the list goes on...
   
Dr. Jon Perlman is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at the UCLA Medical Center and has been in private practice in Beverly Hills, California since 1980. Dr. Perlman performed more than two dozen plastic surgical makeovers for the ABC TV Network show “Extreme Makeover”.
   
Dr. Maximilian Martin is the Global Head and Managing Director of Philanthropy Services at UBS AG, a dedicated advisory unit that helps clients conceive, set up and monitor effective philanthropic vehicles. He also serves as a Visiting Professor at the University of Geneva, where he teaches philanthropy and social entrepreneurship in the MBA program, and lectures at the University of St.Gallen.

In 2003, Dr. Martin developed the first university course on social entrepreneurship in Europe for the University of Geneva and the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship. He then conceptualized and set up UBS Philanthropy Services, the UBS Philanthropy Forum and its sub-platforms (Visionaries and Viewpoints). Dr. Martin holds a Master in Anthropology from Indiana University, a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University, and a PhD in Economic Anthropology from the University of
Hamburg, Germany.

With two decades of media experience spanning three continents, he is responsible for managing CNBC’s assets in the region, to drive growth and reinforce CNBC’s position as the world’s leading business news network. His role includes collaborating across divisions to effectively utilise the worldwide resources of CNBC, NBC Universal, and parent company GE.
   
Mr. Pele Törnberg is an innovative and dynamic CEO who has successfully built, listed and led two profitable international media businesses (Metro International - the world's largest international newspaper as well as Modern Times Group, Northern Europe's largest broadcaster, including Russia), with a current combined market capitalisation of US$ 4.6 billion.

In addition, Mr. Törnberg established, expanded and grew world's largest subtitling and dubbing company - SDI. Mr. Törnberg is also a director in more than 10 businesses. Mr. Törnberg was profiled as one of the 25 Stars of Europe by Business Week in 2004.
   
Mr. Jack Somer a marine writer, is a former Editor-in-Chief of Yachting magazine. His love affair with the sea began, under sail only, 50 years ago. He later became a professional aboard ocean racing, cruising, and charter yachts, making many ocean passages. He is the author of numerous articles and is currently writing his twelfth book, all of which are about yachts, ships, maritime or naval history.
   
Mr. William Massey is a partner in the family team at Farrer & Co and has specialised in family law since 1991. He has wide experience in money and children cases with particular emphasis on complex financial cases, often involving trusts, companies, tax, pensions and other international jurisdictions.

Ms. Claire Gordon is a partner in the family team at Farrer & Co. She enjoys a diverse client base and an extensive caseload involving all aspects of family law for high net worth individuals, ranging from children disputes to substantial and complex asset division and pre-nuptial agreements, with many cases containing international elements and trust assets. She is a trained mediator and regards mediation as a valuable alternative means of settling disputes.
   
Mr. Robert Gordon contributed his linguistic skills to the successful launch of Dazzling Oceans. He is a former British diplomat who has served in Chile, Poland, France and Burma. Since retiring as British Ambassador to Vietnam in 2007, Mr. Gordon has advised a number of companies, law firms and international organisations on South East Asian affairs, while acting as visiting lecturer to the University of Strasbourg and France's premier National School of Administration. In October 2008 he co-chaired a European Commission conference on the international aid effort following Cyclone Nargis which devastated central Burma in May 2008. He has been Vice President Marketing for Royal Falcon Fleet since July 2008.
   
Mr. Marcus Hutchinson is the Communications Director of the Volvo Ocean Race. He has raced all his life, studied naval architecture, and since the end of the ‘80s, has been involved in promoting the sport of yacht racing through the media. Part of the organisation of five America’s Cups, one Olympic Games, and other sailing competitions too numerous to count give Mr. Hutchinson a unique perspective on the modern sport.
   
Mr. Michael James Brown Dazzling Oceans’ very own discovery, the talented Mr. Michael James Brown gave up his career as an accountant to pursue his dream of photography. Mr. Brown has won multiple gold medals in the prestigious international photographic competition, the Trierenberg Super Circuit, and has staged successful solo exhibitions of his iconic panoramic landscape images in both London, andhis homeland, Australia.
